AltabancorpTM (ALTA) is a Utah registered bank holding company organized in 1998 under the name Peoples Utah Bancorp.As a Utah registered bank holding company, ALTA is subject to regulation, supervision, and examination by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and by the Utah Department of Financial Institutions (UDFI).ALTA operates all business activities through its wholly-owned banking subsidiary, AltabankTM (the Bank and, together with ALTA, the Company), formerly known as Peoples Intermountain Bank, which was organized in 1913.
