Hanmi Bank, the primary subsidiary of Hanmi Financial, is a state chartered bank incorporated under the laws of the State of California on August24, 1981, and licensed pursuant to the California Financial Code (California Financial Code) on December15, 1982. The Banks deposit accounts are insured under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act up to applicable limits thereof. The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (the DFPI) is the Banks primary state bank regulator and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (the FDIC) is its primary federal regulator.
