• Ukraine is the world's fourth-largest grain exporter, with 44.7 million tons supplied outside in 2020-21

Ukraine's Defense Ministry said Russian forces have stolen 400,000 tons of grain from the Southern part of the country.

The grain was allegedly seized from the Ukrainian provinces of Zaporizhia, Kherson, Donetsk, and Luhansk.

“At least 400,000 tons of grain were stolen by Russia in the occupied south of Ukraine. That’s over 6,000 hoppers. Russian thieves are bringing death and famine to the world,” the ministry said in a tweet.
