• The former President can also not post the same content on any other social media site for six hours
Digital World Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: DWAC) said on Monday former President Donald Trump will have to first post on Truth Social, even if his Twitter Inc (NASDAQ: TWTR) ban is lifted.
According to a SEC filing, Trump can also not post the content on any other social media site that he has shared on Truth Social, his new social media platform, for six hours.
After six hours, Trump is free to use any other platform for sharing his post. This comes after Elon Musk, who is in talks to acquire Twitter, said that he will lift Trump’s Twitter ban.
The filing added that Trump is, though, allowed to post from a personal account about political messaging or political fundraising on any platform at any time.
Trump Media & Technology Group, which owns Truth Social, has a deal with Digital World Acquisition to go public.
Trump was banned from Twitter in January 2021 for inciting January 6 Capitol riot. The former President had said that he won’t join Twitter again even if he is invited.
