Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said 32 journalists have been killed since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.
French journalist Frederic Leclerc-Imhoff was the recent media person killed in Ukraine on Monday while reporting on the country's crisis.
According to Sky News, the reporter was reporting the show "reality of the conflict" for the 24-hour news channel BFMTV.
“A little over a month ago, I gave an interview to this particular TV channel,” Zelenskyy said in his nightly address. “This was my first interview with the French media during a full-scale war.”
“My sincere condolences to Frédéric’s colleagues and family,” Zelenskyy said.
