Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said fighting for control of the city of Severodonetsk, may determine the fate of the country's war with Russian forces in the Donbas.
According to the results of the 105th day of the full-fledged battle, Severodonetsk remains the focal point of the conflict in Donbas.
Ukraine’s president said we defend our positions and inflict significant losses on the enemy.
“This is a very fierce battle, very difficult. Probably one of the most difficult throughout this war,” Zelenskyy said in his nightly video address.
“I am grateful to everyone who defends this direction. In many ways, the fate of our Donbas is being decided there,” he said.
Meanwhile, The UK defense ministry in its intelligence report said in the last 48 hours, Russia’s Eastern Group of Forces (EGF) have likely increased their efforts to advance to the south of Izium.
