The governor of Ukraine's Luhansk region said that evacuation from the Azot chemical factory in Severodonetsk is no longer possible.
“It is physically possible, but it is very dangerous due to constant shelling and fighting,” Serhiy Hayday said in a tweet. “If someone went out, they would have a 99% chance of dying.”
The governor of the Luhansk region said around 568 people, including 38 children, have taken refuge at the factory.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the capital city of Kyiv would reconstruct all that the invaders destroyed.
“We are dealing with absolute evil. And we have no choice but to move on. Free our entire territory,” Zelenskyy said.
