Meta's (NASDAQ: META) Instagram is rolling out a non-fungible token (NFT) feature across 100 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas, after integrating with Coinbase Wallet and Dapper.
Meta's founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, confirmed the rollout in a post on Facebook. The feature will initially support Ethereum, Polygon, and Flow NFTs.
Instagram plans to let users connect to Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and Dapper Wallet. The feature will have no associated fees, the company mentioned in a statement.
Meta's share price is currently down by 1.07% at $167. Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN), meanwhile, jumped by over 31% on news that it has partnered with asset manager BlackRock (NYSE: BLK) to offer crypto trading to institutional investors.
