There are presently no grounds for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said Kremlin.
In answer to a question on Turkish offers to mediate peace talks, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on a conference call that the duo would meet only when negotiators from both sides had "done their homework," Reuters reported.
“This is missing, so there are no necessary prerequisites for the meeting,” he said, claiming the Ukrainian delegation had “gone off the radar”.
Ukraine and Russia claimed separately that talks between the two countries had halted, blaming one other for the break
Soon after a Kremlin spokesperson, that peace negotiations with Ukraine have stalled and that Kyiv is adamant about not continuing them.
