Perficient: Q3 Earnings Snapshot

ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Perficient Inc. (PRFT) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $23 million.

On a per-share basis, the St. Louis-based company said it had profit of 64 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.11 per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.10 per share.

The information technology consulting firm posted revenue of $227.6 million in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $230.6 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, Perficient expects its per-share earnings to range from $1.11 to $1.16.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $233 million to $239 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.

Perficient expects full-year earnings in the range of $4.25 to $4.30 per share, with revenue ranging from $905 million to $911 million.
