CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) _ EverQuote, Inc. (EVER) on Tuesday reported a loss of $6.5 million in its third quarter.
The Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 20 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 41 cents per share.
The company posted revenue of $103.2 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $93.3 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, EverQuote said it expects revenue in the range of $87 million to $92 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $403 million to $408 million.
