On a per-share basis, the Phoenix-based company said it had profit of $11.53.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $12.61 per share.
The telecommunications company posted revenue of $424.7 million in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $431.8 million.
Cable One shares have fallen 55% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $802.35, a drop of 54% in the last 12 months.
