TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Primo Water Corporation (PRMW) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $1.3 million.
On a per-share basis, the Tampa, Florida-based company said it had profit of 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 22 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 23 cents per share.
The maker of pure-play water solutions posted revenue of $584.6 million in the period, exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $582.4 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, Primo said it expects revenue in the range of $540 million to $560 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $2.22 billion to $2.24 billion.
