WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) _ HanesBrands Inc. (HBI) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $418.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of $1.19 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 7 cents per share.
The underwear, T-shirt and sock maker posted revenue of $1.47 billion in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $127.2 million, or 36 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $6.23 billion.
HanesBrands expects full-year earnings in the range of 31 cents to 42 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $6.05 billion to $6.2 billion.
