The Brisbane, California-based company said it had a loss of 43 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were 18 cents per share.
The molecular diagnostics company posted revenue of $67.2 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $53.7 million.
CareDx expects full-year revenue in the range of $274 million to $278 million.
CareDx shares have decreased 45% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $6.33, a decline of 61% in the last 12 months.
