On a per-share basis, the Atlanta-based company said it had net income of 64 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and non-recurring costs, were 75 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 69 cents per share.
The packaging company posted revenue of $2.25 billion in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.42 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $723 million, or $2.34 per share. Revenue was reported as $9.43 billion.
Graphic Packaging expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.50 to $3 per share.
