Micron: Fiscal Q2 Earnings Snapshot

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Micron Technology Inc. (MU) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $793 million.
The Boise, Idaho-based company said it had profit of 71 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 42 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 27 cents per share.
The chipmaker posted revenue of $5.82 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $5.33 billion.
