Real Madrid will face Borussia Dortmund at the Champions Leauge final in wembley following thier victory over Bayern Munich
Real Madrid beat Bayern 2-1 and 4-3 on aggregate after drawing the first leg away 2-2-in Munich. Bayern Munich left back Alphonso Davies scored frist before two late goals by Joselu, who is currentley on loan from La Liga side Espanyol with an option to buy at the end of the season.
This defeat means that Bayern will be without a trophy for the first season since 2011-12 and only the 5th season in the last 20 that they have gone without a title. Even with the addtion of $100 Million signing of England Captain and top goal scorer Harry Kane. The defeat could also see the end of manger Thomas Tuchel spell in charge of Bayern.
This will be Real Madrid record 17th European Cup Final, having won a recrod 14 of thier previous finals. Additionally Italian manger Carlo Ancelotti will mnage his sixth Champions Leauge Final, Three with Serie A side AC Milan and now 3 with current team Real Madrid. Ancelotti has won 4 UCL titles the most on any manger two with AC Milan (2003, 2007) and two with Real Madrid (2014, 2022)
Real Madrid currently sit on top of the La Liga table and will be odds on favorites to win at Wembley against Borussia Dortmund, who currentley sit 5th on the Bundesliga table. Real Madrid has also reached the Champions Leauge final 5 times since Dortmunds last final in 2013, winning all 5.
If Madrid were to win the Final on June 1st players Jude Bellingham and Vincious Jr would most likely become favorites for the Ballon D'or. The award given out by France Football Magazine for the best player in the world.
