WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) — WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) — Revvity, Inc. (RVTY) on Monday reported second-quarter net income of $55.4 million.
The Waltham, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of 45 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.22 per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.13 per share.
The maker of scientific instruments posted revenue of $691.7 million in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $694.4 million.
