SAN ANTONIO (AP) — SAN ANTONIO (AP) — IHeartMedia Inc. (IHRT) on Thursday reported a loss of $981.7 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the San Antonio-based company said it had a loss of $6.50. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and restructuring costs, were 23 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 31 cents per share.
The radio company posted revenue of $929.1 million in the period.
