SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (AP) — SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (AP) — Assembly Biosciences Inc. (ASMB) on Thursday reported a loss of $11.2 million in its second quarter.
The South San Francisco, California-based company said it had a loss of $1.98 per share.
The biotech drug developer posted revenue of $8.5 million in the period.
Assembly Biosciences shares have increased 36% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $13.38, a climb of 3% in the last 12 months.
