SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — LendingClub Corp. (LC) on Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $14.5 million.
The San Francisco-based company said it had profit of 13 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 7 cents per share.
The company that connects borrowers and lenders online posted revenue of $201.9 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $190.1 million.
