Colombia seizes 11 tonnes of mineral used in the manufacture of smartphones, high tech gadgets

Colombian authorities have seized 13.7 tons (11.7 tonnes) of coltan, a key mineral used in the production of smartphones, that had been illicitly extracted in Vichada, the Defense Ministry said Tuesday.
