Michael J. Brown is a Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Euronet Worldwide, Inc.(EEFT)
is one of the co-founders of Euronet in 1994 and has served as our Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since 1996 and as our President since December 2014. He also served as our President from December 11, 2006 to June 11, 2007. Mr. Brown has been a Director of Euronet since our incorporation in December 1996 and previously served on the boards of Euronet’s predecessor companies. In 1979, Mr. Brown co-founded Innovative Software, Inc., a computer software company that was merged in 1988 with Informix. Mr. Brown served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Informix from February 1988 to January 1989. He served as President of the Workstation Products Division of Informix from January 1989 until April 1990. In 1993, Mr. Brown was a founding investor of Visual Tools, Inc. Visual Tools, Inc. was acquired by Sybase Software in 1996. Mr. Brown was formerly a director of Blue Valley Ban Corp. and Nexxus Lighting, Inc. Mr. Brown currently serves on the board of directors of Monopar Therapeutics.
Brown received a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1979 and a M.S. in molecular and cellular biology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1997.
