Michael J. DeVito

Michael DeVito is the Chief Executive Officer of Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp, known as Freddie Mac, one of the largest providers of mortgage financing in the United States. Freddie Mac is a GSE chartered by Congress in 1970. DeVito is also a member of the company's Board of Directors.

As CEO, DeVito is dedicated to achieving Freddie Mac’s mission to support a liquid, stable, and affordable housing finance system. DeVito has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industry. He spent more than 23 years at Wells Fargo and Company, rising to the level of Executive Vice President, Head of Home Lending, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s mortgage and home equity business.
