Kliethermes, who was promoted to RLI Insurance Company President & COO in 2016, will assume the role of RLI Corp. President & COO and be appointed to the Board of Directors, all effective on January 1, 2021. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Risk Services since 2013.

(which are all subsidiaries of RLI Corp.). He is also on the board of Maui Jim, Inc. and President & Senior Vice President-Risk Services at Contractors Bonding & Insurance Co., Member of The American Academy of Actuaries, Senior Vice President-Risk Services at Clear Blue Insurance Co. and Member of CPCU Society. In his past career he held the position of Senior Vice President of Security National Financial Corp., Senior VP & Director-Quantitative Analysis at Lockton Cos. LLC, Vice President of WESTport Corp. and Assistant Vice President at Employers Reinsurance Corp. Mr. Kliethermes received an undergraduate degree from Maryville University of St. Louis.
