Jim Ryan

Jim Ryan is an English businessman and the current President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Inc.(TYO) the subsidiary of Sony Corporation focused on research, development, and sales of PlayStation hardware, software, content, and network services.

Ryan joined Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, then known as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, in 1994. He was named President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe in 2011. In 2016, Ryan was named Head of Global Sales & Marketing of Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC, keeping his role as President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe. He was named Deputy President of Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC in 2018 while remaining responsible for his prior two positions. Ryan succeeded John (Tsuyoshi) Kodera as President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment in April 2019. He reports to CEO of Sony Corporation, Kenichiro Yoshida.
