The death toll from the Russian rocket strike on the apartment building in Chasiv Yar has grown to 34, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
A nine-year-old kid was among those killed, the department said in a telegram post.
After the residential structure was hit over the weekend, search and rescue crews were racing to reach people trapped in the wreckage.
Chasiv Yar, with a population of 12,000 people, is roughly 20 kilometers (12 miles) southeast of Kramatorsk was targeted by Russian Uragan rockets fired from truck-borne weapons.
Earlier on June 28, at least 19 people were killed when a Russian missile struck a retail mall in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk.
