Private military Wagner played key role in Russia's seizure of Lysychansk: UK

The UK Ministry of defense in its intelligence report said private military company Wagner has almost certainly played a central role in recent fighting, including the capture of Popasna and Lysychansk.
This fighting has inflicted heavy casualties on the group, the ministry said in its report.
“Wagner is lowering recruitment standards, hiring convicts and formerly blacklisted individuals. Very limited training is made available to recruits,” the MoD said in a tweet.
This will very certainly influence the group's future operational efficiency and lessen its usefulness as a prop to regular Russian forces.
Meanwhile, the ministry said “Wagner head, Yevgeniy Prigozhin, has recently been made a Hero of the Russian Federation for Wagner’s performance in Luhansk.”
