Martial law extended in Ukraine for another 90 days
- Martial law means the military temporarily takes over the control of the civilian government

The Ukrainian government decided to prolong martial law for an additional 90 days as the Russian attack intensifies.
“Parliament supported the extension of martial law for 90 days until November 21, 2022,” an official posted an update on Telegram.
When martial law is proclaimed, the military temporarily assumes control over the civilian government.
Also, the Ukraine Council supported approval of the Decree "on extending the term of general mobilization"
