Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the capital city of Kyiv would reconstruct all that the invaders destroyed.
“We are dealing with absolute evil. And we have no choice but to move on. Free our entire territory,” Zelenskyy said in his nightly video address.
He went on to say that Ukrainian soldiers will knock out the invaders from all of our areas.
“We will rebuild everything that was destroyed by the occupiers. From Volnovakha to Chortkiv,” Ukraine’s President said. “Because this is Ukraine. And it is our destiny to return and strengthen it.”
Earlier he said Russian death toll in the battle might reach 40,000 in June.
“Russian generals see their people simply as the cannon fodder they need to gain an advantage in numbers — in manpower, in military equipment, Ukraine’s leader said.
