Hollywood actor Ben Stiller on Monday visited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv, told him, "You're my hero."
According to a social media post, Stiller, who is a Goodwill Ambassador with the UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency, is assisting the agency in its support of Ukrainian refugees.
"It's one thing to see this destruction on TV or on social networks. Another thing is to see it all with your own eyes. That's a lot more shocking," said Ben Stiller, according to a statement from Zelenskyy’s office.
The President and the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador reviewed the needs of temporarily displaced people in Ukraine, as well as those in Poland, where Ben Stiller had just returned the day before.
On Sunday, Stiller was seen walking in the western city of Lviv, which has been attacked by Russian forces throughout the months-long invasion.
