President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine can inflict significant losses on Russia while also making advances on the battlefield.
“We discussed the current situation on the frontline, around Ukraine. We defined tasks in some tactical areas to strengthen our positions,” Zelenskyy said in his video address. “And we also thoroughly worked out the issue of providing the troops with the modern weapons - the intensity of attacks on the enemy still needs to be increased.”
The participants of the Staff meeting agreed that we have a significant potential for the advance of our forces on the front and the infliction of significant new losses on the occupiers, he further said.
The Ukrainian leader said each Russian strike serves as justification for Ukraine to get additional HIMARS and other modern and effective weapons, every attack fuels our will to destroy the invaders, which we will undoubtedly do.
“With all its terrorist attacks against Ukrainians and our country, Russia is only burying itself,” he said.
